To not have a job at this age

I'm nineteen.
I still don't have a job and live with my parent.
It's super frustrating to have to rely on my parent and to not be able to obtain a job.
Nobody will quit nagging me about it even though I apply for at least 5-10 jobs every week.
they don't realise how hard it is for someone with no work experience qualifications or proper license to get a job.
is it normal to not have a job at my age?

what kinds of jobs are you applying for? you cant expect to get a great job without experience. my first job was at Subway and that was pretty awful but while i was working there, i looked for an office job. its easier to get a job while you are working and if you show a possible employer that you are willing to work anywhere then you have a higher chance of getting a good job. good luck!

    19 and no job? I'm 21 and I don't have a job either. But that's because I'm still a student :)

Go to college, get financial aid. Kids your age should be in college not job hunting. You won't find any decent job without at least an associate's degree.

Keep applying for those jobs. Do more than 5-10 a week as it's a tough world out there. You've got the right attitude but you're being too hard on yourself. 19 is young so don't fret. If you still struggle try a College course or something to keep you occupied, get qualified and improve your job chances. Also don't apply for jobs that are way out of your league. I'm not saying you do but many young people apply for mid-range jobs they have no hope of getting.

Perhaps you should work on your interviewing skills. You are applying for 5-10 a week and still haven't found one so something may be up.

What I don't get is why is it that when parents are rich their kids that are grown up stay with them and nobody calls them losers or anything but those kids whose stay with their parents are called losers and stuff.

Er, I doubt you're applying for that many each week. Try harder!
