I'm a girl. I have a crush on this celebrity. I've liked her for a year. I can't stop thinking about her. I write books about her. I want to kiss her and other stuff so bad. It breaks my heart that I can't have her. Is this normal?
yes it's normal. I have loved a female celebrity for almost 3 years, and to think before that I kind of hated her... then I met her... Instead of thinking of them as fillers, if you truly think you love them, then I suggest you start accepting that you will never be together. It's much easier when you love them with that acceptance in mind because when they do something shitty it feels less like they've "betrayed" you and more like you are both two human beings with a connection.
I like to think of celebrity crushes as "fillers." Some place to project you sexual and emotional fantasies, in lieu of a real person, ultimately the perfect attractive format for you to apply whatever personality traits you desire. Ultimately, it isn't real. You need to get out and date- real women with real flaws (trus me; they're much more satisfying).
Infatuation can last for years, so yeah. Pretty normal for you to have a crush that long.
Quite normal for a teeny bopper. However, if you're over 14, then no, not so much.
