To hate birthday cake?

I always thought a birthday cake is whatever kind of cake you want.
My Mom always bakes me a chocolate cake topped with cherries and strawberries for my b-day cake. It's delicious.

I like cheesecake, red velvet or strawberry.

I always go for the icecream cake.

That dry over sweetened cake you speak of, is it one of those generic mass produced mounds of yellow crap found at the local supermarket? If so, you've been getting the wrong kind of cake. The best cakes come straight from the bakery.

That icing is friggin disgusting, i made a question about gross icing, go check it out xD Alot of birthday cakes have that disgusting dry flavour and that gritty, hard, overly sweet icing. If you want an awesome, moist cake, and its your choice to put icing on or not, get betty crocker mixes at the store. All you have to do is mix milk in it.

I hate the traditional store bought sheet cake, but in general, its hard to hate birthday cakes all together. I don't like sheet cake, so I asked for a cheesecake for my birthday and it was delicious.

I like cake! Well... I usually like those fruity ones more than the sweet ones. I haven't had cake in forever! (That "cake" that I had for my friend's birthday last weekend was just ice cream in disguise and, therefore, is NOT cake.)

I detest the icing. It's too damn sweet. I hate things that are too sweet. I remember Betty Crocker having a really nice birthday cake batter. It always came out nice and soft.

Those big sheet cakes from Cosco are bomb. You can feel it clogging your arteries as you eat it. That's how you know it's good.
