I'm definitely not trying to sound like I am an amazing artist or something- this character I can draw in literally 5 seconds, it's just a doodle, so it's not like the average person would find him attractive, but I do!! I can draw pretty good though and it's like a comic character. I mean yeah it's just a few simple quick lines on paper so why does he turn me on so much?! Just imagining him in different everyday life situations... Then drawing them out... I'm not even kidding I love him so much, he is just so cute and funny(I've a personality created for him too... I'm still working on it and every time I think the slightest about his details it turns me on)

And I'm not gonna show cus I'm too embarrassed lol. Oh and I am an adult not a kid so yeah... :/

    "A picture is worth a thousand words..."

    People are turned on by characters in books all the time. Especially writers I've known, they fall in love with their fictional character creations... so why can't you get turned on by a visual creation of your own character?

      Why try to figure out what those thousand words are when you could simply look at them in a book.

    In "Travels in the Scriptorium" Paul Auster lets one of the characters, he once created, jerk him off, so I guess that's even common among respectable authors ;)

    Maybe because you based the character on everything you like. So it is the ideal lover for you.

    People fall in love with their own creations all the time. That's what the story of Pygmalion was about, after all.

    i say its normal because he is your (creation) so you know him better then anyone, and it may not even be his visual or maybe its the one you can see in your mind when your drawing him.

      Yeah actually I know the whole "well" and"good" difference, I sometimes forgo proper grammar for whatever sounds best to me, sorry I didn't think it was so bad

    I think it is, at some point your making an idealization of what would like a person to be and you probably gave him good looks yourself. You dont have nothing to be worried about.

    Its perfectly normal ! Even I get turned on now and then by fictional characters. Mostly anime ones though... :P gotta love them anime guys

    of course it is.....something similar happend to me.....
    its complicated and it brings bad memories but the concept is the same so....yeah its normal..

    All the time! Just don't set your standards so high after loving a fictional character, because you'll never love anyone real ever again.

    But there's nothing wrong with that though.
