To feel that all middle management are assholes?

I have worked in office jobs most of my life. I have found that all the middle management I have worked with are all pretty much assholes. They get a modicum of power and become giant turds.

    When you have to supervise a group of assholes, you have to know all you can about assholes, and the best way to do that is to become an asshole yourself.

    If you don't, then the assholes take over, and voila, now there's a different asshole running the place.

    Either way, assholes are in charge. Kismet.

      ok be the asshole. that's all good. however be an asshole that knows the job.

        Big diff between a garden varietal general clueless asshole and an asshole who know's what he's doing.

        My point is: Most people in charge are assholes. It goes with the turf.

      How? I mean they still have free will. I don't mind a hard ass as long as the person is fair.

        I imagine it's probably pretty difficult to be responsible for the performances, and morale of other employees.

        You sound reasonable enough in yourself attitude towards management.

    Wait until you are around the senior management. Bigger assholes and even larger assholes if they are females that have made it to the VP or higher positions.
