To dream movies

Every once in awhile I will dream a movie that doesn't exist. They are really good movies if I may say so myself. They have deeply meaningful plot, believable characters, comedy, tragedy, etc. just like a real life movie, only better. It's nothing I could come up with while awake, I would like to write them down but I think no one will like them as much as I do...

is it normal to dream your own movies that are just as good if not better than real life movies

Btw, you might say all dreams are like movies, but that's not what I mean. I am actually myself in the dream, watching them. Not 3rd person dreams, but in the dream I'm actually aware that I'm watching a 'movie'.

Write that stuff down. Who knows, you may have in your dreams a golden idea that becomes the next big thing.

I also dream in TV shows, and in the end they'll say "to be continued" right before I wake up. Then I get pissed off because I know that it won't be continued.

Yeah. I do that too. I had one that went along the lines of this some time ago. It was one of my favorites:

Okay, let's see if I can remember. It was like a fairy-tale, and there was a prince and a princess, and everyone has these powers (and throughtout the dream, for some reason, the musical score was the song Sarah sings on "Hocus Pocus" but it went really well) any way, there was an evil King who was the most powerful of all, and of course his henchman who killed everybody for him and had the ability to turn into a giant snake. So, if I can remember, throughout the dream, the towns people, including the prince and princess (who are in no way related to the evil kind I might add) are trying to stay clear away from the evil King and his sadistic henchman because the king wanted them as his slaves or something (don't really remember) Okay, let's see, so one by one they're being captured by this King, but the Prince and Princess, being our protagonist, seem to be able to escape, that is until the end. And the end was the coolest part. Well, it turns out that throughout the story, which I forgot to mention, the evil henchman knows a spell in which he can steal other's powers. So, i hte end, he confronts the evil King and they wind up in a conflict, and remembering the King has the most power of all, the evil henchman (who we discover is actually more evil thatn the King) steals his powers and kills the King. And now we have to deal with the evil henchman, who is FAR worse than the king. Soon, all the townspeople discover that the henchman was the one they should've been afraid of entirely, and he becomes the antagonist (even though he kinda already was because he worked for the king). After being captured, the princess manages to escape, and having the ability to fly, she soars of over the woods, but unfortunatly she gets caught. Now, her, her prince, and all of their friends are doomed to be slaves to the evil henchman but they refuse. They said they'd rather die than be forced to work for the henchman, so out of anger, the henchman turns into a giant snake and eats everyone (yeah, I'd change the end too)

Strange. I'm really not sure as to why you dream you are watching movies.

So you mean in your dreams you are sitting in a theatre? And watching full length films? Please explain.

    • Not exactly, but sometimes I'll be sitting on the couch at home watching them with family. and someone will say things like, "oh here comes the best part", or "this part is so sad", and then were crying while watching the sad part. it's like the movie will be the ''full screen'' of my dream, then after each scene it will pan out to me and someone else on the couch discussing the movie.
