For about a year now i have had a weird single cough. Like, every couple of minuets i'll randomlly cough just one cough then its over. I went to the docter many times and they had me tested for a couple of things but they found nothing wrong. It really bugs the heck out of some of my friends too.
Listen dude I'm a HM in the Navy. I know a thing or two. No one can help you with the limited information you have given. It could be anything. Listen to your doctor if he tells you something feel relieved. especially if its good news. other than that tough it out fairy man.
Are you stating hydrated? Did your doctor mention allergies? Post nasal drip? Acid reflux? Do you notice that it happens at certain times more than others? Day vs night. After eating certain foods? Maybe if you kept track on paper it might help you determine the cause? Do you think it could be vocal nodules? Do you have a job where you use your voice excessively? Just some ideas. I work with people with voice disorders. Good luck!
That can happen with lung cancer, you should definitly get that checked by a doctor, have a chest x-Ray!
If your taking any medicine that might be it, some medications make you cough often if this is the case you should talk to your doctor so that he can change them. R u a smoker? If yes that might be your answer...but you should know that already: )
