Are you sure you’re straight? As an asexual most genitals look neutral to me, unless they’re diseased.

Unless you carry a speculum in your back pocket when you go on hot dates, you can't possibly know what the vaginas of the women you have sex with look like.

What you're talking about is the vulva - the external female genitals. But since loads of women can't be bothered to use the correct terminology for a part of their own body, I suppose guys shouldn't care either. Still, it's kinda like a guy talking about his dick when he means his balls, or vice versa.

As for your feelings about vulvas, that's entirely up to you. You're free to dislike how they look if you choose to do so, and from what I've read, there are a lot of women who really dislike how they look 'down there'. It's very unfortunate when someone is unhappy about how any part of their body looks, but that's their problem. It's also unfortunate when someone dislikes how a particular part of another person's body looks, but the important thing then is how that affects their behaviour.

If you cringe, quickly look away or mimic vomiting every time you get a glimpse of a woman's vulva, that's going to do nothing positive for her self-image. It's also very likely going to reduce the chances of you enjoying the positive aspects of being with a person who has a vagina and is at least tentatively willing to let you experience being inside it.

Like Boojum said, you probably mean the outer part of the vagina - the vulva. As nobody really peaks into a vagina, flashlight in hand to see what's inside.

When she has a neat, small and symmetrical vulva - it's hot.

If it's fat, meaty, uneven and half-open look it's not pretty. You still put it in, but going down suddenly seems quite unappealing.
