So a higher up who signs off on my Dept's work asked me to brain storm with him on some ideas with coffee after work.
Who drinks coffee after five?
We been emailing back and forth Work related for a few months now. And the day I was out left me a bagel on my desk..?
Is this normal?
I was so nervous about the bagel. I didn't know all day who left it for me. I thought it was on some snow white tip. then when my supervisor said it was from him I was like oh ok. I had my roommate check it out for poisioning, cleared and had it for dinner, with cheese, egg, and rosemary. Dam it was good. I am so paranoid some times!
oh man, he did come in the other day and call me ambitious, that made me blush!! Yes I guess he does..i think I do too. I see him as a man I could respect and cook for..
He's interested in you. If you're not interested in him, tell him you'd prefer to keep work matters in the office during working hours.
If you are interested in him, go for it, unless there's a good reason not to. Personally I think work relationships are doomed to failure and if you're junior to him on the totem pole it will be you who suffers most and maybe loses your job. Probably best to be polite and keep your distance.
well he works in another unit. I process the paper work (if its good, if not I kick it back to HIM or his staff to be corrected) from the jobs his unit does. So along the way I have commended him for his great job and doing so much. I mean it sincerely..i mean this is new territory. I just have to find out what his back story is before we go on this date.. but I am troubled to ask any one as it may start the wild firee of gossip. I don't want to give them cause to run.. (calling willld fire)
