To act like other people?

Is it normal to act like other people you know as if they were characters to imitate and your life is a movie in which you are the only actor and director playing all the roles all at the same time??
I'll try explaining myself better. It's gonna be a hard one since this isn't my favorite language no more. For example:To see a guy in the streets doing a particular thing, watching him, memorize every phrase he spoken, gesture he did, facial expression etcetera,to act like him when you see fit?Me and my friends used to do this all the time.We called it:A magical mystery tour. Each one of us had to act like another member of the group he choose,or like somebody he/she thought was cool. The goal is,eventually deeply understanding the psyche of the individual and being able to predict his/her thoughts and actions.
It often happened that,we spoke the same sentence at the same time.Sometimes all at once. And it creep us out.Anyway we were always completely stoned on weed.24/7.Another important part of the game was, completing other people sentences and statements. We used to say something and let the one on our right continue the sentence or speech as if we were a single person with a lot of mouths and many different voices talking all at once,as a single entity. Then we kind of fused together. And sometimes strangers couldn't tell who was who.Cause we shift personalities and the whole thing. And we sang forming a circle near a camp fire.Feeding each other.Screwing around. So everybody pretty much knew what everyone could say in every possible situation?
Sometimes we used to make up stories, like plots of movies based on actual events and act.
Anyway, you already know the question I'm gonna ask you.IIN?

That sounds pretty deep. I wouldn't say normal in the sense that everyone does it but I myself at times do study people's mannerisms so I personally see where I can relate to your post.
