when I was a kid we used to throw stones and bottles and stuff at the police when they drove past.
I live in northern Ireland so there were political reasons for it although we were too young to understand. all we knew was that the police were the enemy.
does this ever happen in your area and where are you from?
It's like the old saying goes, if you put a bottle rocket in a cage with a cat you won't have ripe pudding on Christmas day, if you know what I mean.
Are you kidding? Police shoot my kind for walking down the street with a bag of candy. Yeah like I'm gonna start throwing rocks at them.
I used to flip everyone off and yell rude things just to establish that no one should be able to do anything back to me, ((I just move to the states) people said I'd get shot.

This was unfortunately true during the early history of Northern Ireland up to the late 1980s were majority of the force was filled by Loyalists who abused their powers detaining and discriminating against the Nationalist community.
The police force was disbanded and a new secular police force that consisted members of both communities but there is still a general distrust of the force.
Saying this, both communities have been responsible for horrible acts on one again. I don't get the continuous hatred of a person because of their religious affiliation. This is fucking Europe, not some Banana Republic backwater.
