Thoughts on lady gaga?

I would call her more of an entertainer than an artist.

Solid entertainer, but I don't consider her a good "artist". Write catchy 4 Chord pop song, steal David Bowie/Madonna "eccentric" image, repeat.

She's not even an artist, in my opinion. There's simply nothing remarkable about her. Her voice is nothing special whatsoever. If it weren't for the stupid, random ass costumes, I doubt she would be anywhere near as big as she is today.

Only those brainless fashionistas are "impressed" by her "innovative" and "unique" ways of "expression."
She's just an entertainer who sings club music. That's all there's to it. She's simply doing what many others are doing.

She tries so hard it's ridicilous. I can see when a person is weird on purpose... and THAT is clever marketing.

She's a classically trained pianist and writes her own songs, so what if she likes to wear avant-garde costumes to perform & entertain.

OG Loc (from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas) had more musical talent than Lady Gaga ever will, an OG Loc was a work of fiction.... As bad as Loc was, at least you can listen to his stuff and laugh!

I think she is just trying to prove to the world that she's special, but doing it in a pathetic way. I only like one of her songs but altoghter I'd say she's a bit washed up. And every time I think I 'm starting to like her, she shows up at an award ceremony and is very disappointing.

she is too creepy,I wouldn't want to meet her or go to any of her concerts,she definitely doesn't entertain me.

Fair pianist, decent voice, good body, none of which would be enough if she didn't put on the costumes. Without the shtick she is a dime a dozen and you probably would have never heard of her.

she is a total genius!!!! she's a trained musician and her music speaks to people in such an amazing way (i.e. Born This Way). she is such a remarkable inspiration. :)

I wouldn't go as far as calling myself a monster, but I find her a breath of fresh air. People might say it's self-promotion, but I like her message of tolerance and self-expression. I definitely prefer that over the vacuous "sex sells"-mentality of other current entertainers.

Catchy music, obvious talent, decent voice, impressive wardrobe (as in, it actually leaves an impression on, oh, i dunno, the majority of people who see her? xD), AMAZING makeup, and quirky personality.

I just think she is trying to hard to be 'weird' and 'different' and 'special' when really she isn't she is just dressing differently to make people want buy her ablums because people feel like she is speaking to them. But it's all marketing she's not really that different or weird or special. I think she's so fake and putting on a total facade to make some money. She has a pretty good voice for a pop star though.

Not to sure. She's a pretty good singer, but the words to the songs, they're just inappropriate and "strange". She's...too much. I think she tries too hard. She tries to stand out and be different like Madonna (or however you spell that), and she makes herself weird because of it. She's got talent, but she tries too hard to stand out it's creepy.

I admire her because she doesn't give a rat's ass about whether or not someone likes what shes doing or wearing. She's enjoying life, good for her!

I don't mind her. Well, I liked her better a few years ago before she seemed to be trying so hard to be weird. I don't really care for her newer songs. The older ones aren't exactly my style but she sucked me in. I wish she wouldn't wear so much makeup. Like in bad romance, when she's got just some mascara on, she's so beautiful but looks like a drag queen most of the time. But I'll let that slide since I have a little thing for her. :)

Good singer, and I can see how her lyrics can insprire people, even though they don't mean much to me personally. I didn't have a problem with her image until she wore that thing made entirely out of real meat, I then wanted to kill the b*tch. "Born This Way" is a good song, and "Edge Of Glory" is brilliant, but I don't find her diverse enough to buy one of albums. Fair play to her though.

The people who don't like her are people who don't like her genre.

The music industry pumps out brainless pop floor fillers all the time. Lady GaGa has her own spin on things, which is a breath of fresh air to an increasingly stale industry.

Not a fan of her per say, but i like her music.

I think she's okay, most of her musics catchy and she wears outrageous stuff.

i love her music but her costumes just suck..exxept the one on the new album but thats because she´s only on bikini or something :P
