When i was a kid my skin was the skin of a god. It was so beautiful. When i hit my teen years I broke out and scarred very bad. I had scars and acne everywhere. Now I am 19 and its clearing up. Whats making it clear up is staying positive and affirmations. I also take biotin, msm and other hair, skin, nails vitamins. Msm and biotin flush out your system and detox you. Msm will also make your skin glow. I started to take them for my hair to make my hair grow faster and had no clue it was going to help my skin too. Recently I found tea tree oil which is an essential oil that kills bacteria. I put that on my pimples and it helps immediantly. Sometimes it destroys that pimple within a few hours. Sometimes it takes a few days but it helps so I don't have scars. Tea tree oil helps so the skin does not scar which is a blessing. I also discovered microdermabrasions which was an expensive procedure when I first got it done but I found out I could buy the machine for 1/3 of the price I paid at the skin clinic. It has helped my skin dramatically. I can't see any scars or acne in the mirror, I have to get super close to the mirror to see the acne and scars. I am about to buy the machine and by the summer I should be completely scar and ane free. Acne has been something I struggled for for years and now I finally have found the answer. I hope everyone finds the answer as well.
I have it on my chest and back at age 20. No signs of improving. I used to care but it's never stopped me from having sex or girlfriends or anything like that. Sure I want it to go but because it doesn't hamper me from having a love life I don't care about it anymore. It'll go eventually anyway I guess.
As much as I am used to getting acne, I still flippin' hate it. It hurts, and it's ugly. But hey, we're not alone!
Too much sugar makes me break out. Especially chocolate. A lot of dermatologists say that diet has no impact on acne, but I always notice a significant difference.
I used to have scarring which is still apparent, hyper pigmentation and severe acne. About five months ago I went to see a dermatologist who put me on medication and gave me these blue light treatments. My acne was cleared up pretty fast and the scarring went down quite a bit. However, my course of medication ended a week ago and already I am breaking out in painful cysts. I'm incredibly pissed off due to the fact that I spent thousands and the blue light treatment is supposed to "shrink" your pores and decrease oil production and last for six months to a year. I had my last treatment 3 weeks ago. If anyone has had this treatment, they would know that you can either have it without the oil or with. I had three treatments with the oil, which is very "hardcore" lol you can't leave the house for about two weeks because the skin on your face is practically falling off and you look like a leper. All that for nothing.
I used to have almost perfectly clear skin. the other day I woke up to a real tragedy on my face though. It's not that big of a deal but i'm easily disturbed by self-consciousness so ill probably pick up some treatment at the store one of these days. I got this one on my chin though and it's pretty stinking large. If I could just get rid of that one boss pimple lol.
I mean I used to have a few random zits once a month during my period, but now I eat healthier and use Proactiv. I've heard it's not for everyone but it works very well for me.
Wow it reminds me of when I was 15, now I have less acne but I still hate it...I used to have all these huge bumps on my forehead and the sides of my nose, and an itchy circle on my chin. >.<
