Ever since I hit puberty,I have known I was a lesbian. I just had no sexual attraction to men,and I didn't hide it at all. I had girlfriends and only went on dates with girls,and I thought I knew everything and was okay with it until....I met this guy,and he's really the sweetest,nicest,and coolest guy I've ever met,and he's really cute.... He's the only guy I've ever been attracted to. Is it normal for this to happen? Has it happened to other lesbians? and should I go for it and see what happens?

    Gay, lesbian, straight are just labels. None of them can fully describe a person's sexuality. They are just helpful in describing things. They are not the all and everything.

    If you like that guy, why not go for it? Might be a good time. The next person you end up with might be a woman, a man; maybe you'll marry that boy.

        Same here. Labels are Labels. What you are, people can't be labeled, no matter what anyone else says. You like girls, but you like this guy. Go for it, good luck!

    Yeah, of course! You could be bisexual or pansexual (falling in love with the spirit or the mind, not regarding looks or gender at all)... Have fun, you have the most possibilities of all! :)

    I have a sister that is lesbian and she said if she ever saw a guy she could connect with she would go for it. its called trail and error i wish u luck

    I'm a boy but it looks like you should try this, see where it goes. If it works then you were not meant to be a lesbian and if it doesn't then you've had an experience with a boy and you know its not what you want. Sounds like a win-win situation to me.

    Yes, it is normal. the heart is flexible and can change every minute. there is an exception to every rule, even coming from a gay person.

    You just hit puberty? MY GOD HOW OLD DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? The problem with people today is that they start dating too early! Dont get me wrong, I could/should be married by now at 30, but I've never even dated before. I'm just shy and unlucky, a very BAD combination.

    Oh and by the way, so far as I'm concerned, lesbianism doesnt even exist, it's just a thought made by a crazy person that wanted to categorize and define their insanity. MEN ARE MEN AND WOMEN ARE WOMEN OTHERWISE MEN WOULDN'T BE MEN AND WOMEN WOULDN'T BE WOMEN, physically anyway. I can give a million reasons why homosexuality is wrong.

    I'm attracted to most girls and a few boys. I'm not attracted to the boys any less than I am to the girls, I'm just attracted to fewer of them. Your situation seems to be similar. (BTW I'm a boy).
