I've rejected her politely so many times and she still asks me out like once a month. The last time I rejected her I yelled at her and called her an annoying person. She still insists we go out. I remember she once said she'll get plastic surgery to look like my ideal mate. That freaked me out. I already have someone and this someone really wants to beat the crap out her. I don't want that to happen, I just want her to leave me alone. Any advice on how to deal with her?

    Restraining order? I'm sure this can be legally seen as harassment.

      I'm considering it. It'll be better than my boyfriend losing it and beating the crap out of her. I worry that a restraining order might not stop her though. I'm 4'9, she's like 5'6 and I sometimes worry if she can easily overpower me.

    I fear she's a stalker. Probably is. Call the police if you must. Especially if you're to the point where you fear she'll put someone in danger. Change your number, don't open the door when it's her, and etc.

      I've already changed my number and I don't answer the door when it's her. However we always seem to run into each other by "coincidence." She's an annoying pest that won't remove herself from my life. I'm considering a restraining order because she's starting to scare me.

      Good for you. That's the right step to take. You've got to look after yourself and put you and your relationship first. Hopefully she'll be pushed to seek psychological help, because she needs it.

      A restraining order helps you because if she breaks it, that means she will go to prison. Even if she decides to continue harassing you, the restraining order means that you can do something about it and get her arrested. Don't think of it as a force field that keeps her away from you but as a legal weapon you can use against her.

    Why does she have the impression there's something between you and her? Have you given her any reason to think there's something more or is she just being pushy.

    Tell her you're seeing someone, being upfront about it is key, the more honest you are with her the less chance there is of things getting out of hand.

      I've been honest from the start. She knows I'm gay, and she knows I'm seeing someone. She has this dumb idea in her head that she can change me after I've told her many many times I'm not interested. I have a feeling it's going to get out of hand soon. My boyfriend wants to beat the crap out of her but considering he's 6'1 and muscly and she's like 5'6 tall and skinny, that would end badly.

    Don't put yourself in a situation where she could retaliate. Don't tell her you're seeing anyone and try to keep any facts about yourself and your life under wraps. Get a restraining order or call the police the next time she harasses you. She sounds like a total nutcase.

      That annoying giraffe knows I'm seeing someone. We used to be friends, so she knows facts about me already. I'm considering the restraining order because she still insists we go out even after I ended the friendship, changed my number, and tried to avoid her.
