just when you learned how to see people, at least you think you do, you see there is no point in beign with your partner because that person is not faithful.
gets violent, looks at other hot ppl and also flirts and blames you for that,because u r appearently not tryin enough and destroy the relationship cuz of " little stupid things" and your more hurt by the fact that that person never felt the same way you did.
and in the end you realize you can trust no one but yourself because the person you can trust and never would backstab you doesnt exist and ur all alone watching the notebook

    It's true, you can trust no one but yourself, if even yourself... I have let myself down on more than one occasion. However, there are people who try their best and you should not overlook them just because one person hurt you. Spanglish might lift your spirits to watch alone.

    First off, you aren't the only one cheated on, treated like shit and discarded like used toilet paper, so put it in perspective. If you let it harden you and isolate you from others, no one (certainly not your ex) will be hurt but you.
    You need to get out there and jump right back into the fray; find a decent guy (yes there are a few of us out there) and be happy and successful. Show the asshole what he missed out on, as he has a series of meaningless relationships and slips into middle age, a loser.

      ofc im not, but im so grudgeful because that person was my first and actually I'm surely a little at fault myself for not getting involved with anyone, since I think Im better than average but not the best, if u can see my point,and I dont believe in platonic friendships between an adult man and an adult woman anymore,
      thx for ur positive attitude on my problem :) (hes had endless series of meaningless relationships and I hope he will enjoy doing that in the future, too but without me)

    There are plenty more fish in the sea. It's not hopeless and you're not helpless. Give yourself time to grieve and work on your relationship with yourself. Take time to make a list of your deal breakers and must haves when it comes to a relationship with a significant other. It's also good to read books about Codependency so you can learn how recognize red flags that a person might be like your ex. You've got a long life ahead of you and hopefully you'll find someone you can build a relationship with, don't be afraid to take your time and set boundaries with someone.
