Thinking about a word

Is it normal that when I think and say a word in my head too many times, I start forgetting the word's meaning. Taking the word Antique for example. I know what it is, but repeating the word in my head several times, and thinking about how it sounds, I start forgetting what it means, to the point where I question myself on what does it really mean, and how do you define it. IIN???

Happened to me once with the word "bus". I lost all concept of it. I didn't know what it meant, how it was spelled, or even what a bus was.

True story, by the way. I'm not making this up for a laugh.

    http://wikipedia.org/wiki/Semantic_satiation

It's legit guys. Semantic satiation (also semantic saturation) is a psychological phenomenon in which repetition causes a word or phrase to temporarily lose meaning for the listener, who then perceives the speech as repeated meaningless sounds.
