Might sound like a defense mechanism for someone who has ugly handwriting (which I do lol), but I don't really see why having a good handwriting is useful unless if you work in the arts or with fonts.
My handwriting is ugly but readable so idk I never bothered to put effort to make it look better
Or if you want other people like teachers to understand what you wrote. My handwriting is probably fault for my bad grades since teachers simply give up when they don't understand what you are trying to say.
With technology now I can see how one would think that, but I see why it's important to have good handwriting. I think its taking pride in anything you do and also it reflects the writer. It's like someone coming in with horrible grammar.
I print, my writing is so bad I showed it to my little dog and he ran away from home. My printing is legible. I also prefer others print, it just makes sense.
Good handwriting is obsolete , like schoolteachers and its only a matter of time and governments will replace them with software tutorials, saving the nation untold billions of educations dollars and getting a far superior result. Teachers are no longer teachers anyway. they are coaches to the parents telling them they need to work with the child to improve they handwriting skills . the teachers lack the training, skills, motivation, and desire to accomplish much of anything in the class room unless it involves sex and drugs abortion rights and gender equality. Oh one more thing , morals will be tough to your children, they just wont be your morals.
