Think some people should die, and the death penalty

Well im not really an agressive person, but I can't stand some people who live and waist the oxygen we all breath, because some people like: killers, rapist, sexual preditors, or (excuse my spelling) sociopaths? or whatever are making our lives sh*tty, and giving bad name's for some people. Ok I was debating this in class the other day about the death penalty. I said this to some people(CHRISTIANS)about this and they all were like killing is wrong and no-one has the right to kill anyone. Oh wait they said only a holy power(GOD)can make those decisions. I'm an open athiest and an open person so when they said that to me it really pissed me off on how idiotic, closed minded and insensative they were. But yeah I was just wonering if that is normal to think?

    If proven absolutely innocent, if they take a life, they should give theirs

    I agree with this but simply being a sociopath does not mean you are going to harm anyone. Also most my family is Christian/Catholic and support the death penalty. So being Christian is not going to garentee that either. If they without a doubt did it I would say yes kill them. They already have given up their lives when they decided to hurt people. If you are not going respect the persons rights to not be raped or killed you do not have the right to not be raped or killed. We have arrested people with footage of them committing it.

    I am on the fence with this issue because of some wrongly accused prisoners being released after 20yrs. Its been happening more lately. I would hate to execute an innocent man.

    I'm a Christian and I'm 100% for the death penalty. But keep in mind that the death penalty costs millions of dollars. Life imprisonment costs about 30,000 per year. So the taxpayers get fucked for paying for all the death sentences. Even though it makes sense to kill them we want to try to save the taxpayers (us) from getting screwed.

    Well I guess so...but in my opoion ('scuse my spelling) I think no one should have to get the death penalty. Put yourself in there shoes maby they have problems with there head or are just mad (I don't think anyone can be completly and totally evil =/) I could never imagine the fear of going to be killed.

    I guess it's normal anyway everyone thinks differently =)

    I agree with you. I also think child abusers/molesters, etc and animal abusers should get the death penalty too. I can't stand people who abuse animals/children.
