I turn 18 next month and getting a bit concerned I recently posted I caught my mum in bed with a complete stranger have penetrated sex both my parents explained they have had an open marriage from day 1 I started to worry if they are expecting me to follow suit I think its pervy or am I just being a prude
It's their choice. They're still together, so apparently it works for them. Be happy that you have both parents around. Lots of kids don't.
What you do with your life - including your sex life - will soon be entirely up to you.
Your parents may believe they have found the perfect lifestyle. Personally, I think it's possible they have, since I believe there's much positive to be said for open relationships - if handled correctly. But they shouldn't expect you to follow their lead. If they are good parents and if you want to know more, they should speak to you honestly about the good and bad things about their lifestyle, but then let you make up your own mind.
Kids have no business poking their noses into their parents' sex lives, and parents have no business interfering with the sex life of their adult offspring.
