There should not be sex scenes and kissing in us movies

Yes, It Is Normal-Most US movies are vulgar and shameless. Movies should be family friendly. It is very possible to communicate romance without physical touch. It is unnecessary and even bad because actors do it with people that are not their romantic partners. Look how decent South Indian films and Pakistani dramas are.

This is the position I hold.

...

No, It Is NOT Normal-Get over it. Sex and kissing is a normal part of life. Kissing and sex scenes are just part of actors' jobs and their partners should not be jealous or overprotective.

I don’t like how sex is depicted for high schoolers. For some reason Hollywood always tries to glamorize it.

To be honest, I agree. On the nudity and sex scenes. I don’t think torture/gore should be shown either really.

I don’t think “adult” means you need to show people ass naked having sex in the middle of a movie. It’s annoying that everything “aimed at adults” just ends up being overly vulgar or pornographic. This is why I can’t stand “adult cartoons” because they act like they’re trying to fill a shock value quota.

It’s also just awkward for the viewer, throws off the vibe of watching a movie. And anytime you see an interview of the actors/actresses they say they hated doing the scene.

We all know what sex looks like, if you hint to it we all get the gist, move on to the actual plot

Side note, I think it is absolutely appalling that movies would visually portray underage characters in sexual settings. This is illegal here, and we have banned foreign films that allow it.
Again, we know it happens, we don’t need to be shown it, we get it.

I am an adult and I don't like sex scenes. That stuff does not feed into my viewer demographic: adults who don't want sex scenes.

Also, the portrayals of sex in movies are supposed to be really unrealistic.

There are movies without sex for people like you who don't like it. Why should everyone who does like it not be able to enjoy it just because you're not a fan?

Oh give me a break there are countless movies with those and yet I see no one complaining about it.

Censorship isn't desirable. Who are you to decide what others can/can't watch?

I’m ok with sex scenes that convey emotions and the shared energy between the characters. Scenes with just two bodies slapping against each other contribute nothing and could be replaced by showing them initiating then cutting to afterwards. I fast forward those ones.

I see no issue with sex scenes in films for adults, it’s parents’ and guardians’ responsibility to ensure young children don’t have access to them.

I agree, especially there shouldn't be KID kissing scenes. What if Some 40 year old dude is whacking one off to Mike and Eleven making out in Stranger things? Kinda weird huh? THEN DON'T PUT THEM IN.
I can't watch kissing scenes, I turn away and go "EWWWWW" or make a very loud, rude noise. Sometimes I leave the room. Same goes for sex scenes. It makes me uncomfortable, mad, and grosses me out. It's like watching maggots or pus being squeezed out of a wound for a regular person. DON'T WANT TO SEE IT, THANKS.

Kissing is fine as long as it's not too long and sex shouldn't be in movies at all. I'm not for censorship, I'm just someone that hates when meaningless shit is there instead of the actual plot. If I came to see Horror, I want to see Horror. If I came to see Adventure I want to see Adventure. Etc
