There's a guy i like...iin

Yes, another crush post, but it helps to get more personalized feedback.

So there's this guy I like. I met him years ago and we recently got back in touch. So far we get along great even-though we are still getting reacquainted. The problem is that I found quite a few posts of his on Facebook to a girl that he's still in contact with. These posts are mainly him telling her how attractive she is. She's a natural ginger and he's made posts on his page about how he's specifically looking for a natural red-head. Obviously, his comments towards her make me jealous because he hasn't spoken to me like that as much as he has to her. However, he worked with her and knew her a year before me and him started talking again.

My question is is it normal that I'm having second thoughts about continuing to get to know him while he seems to be very interested in this other girl? I feel like I should just back out now. I don't want to get hurt and I just want to know the communities opinions and experiences. Thanks.

It's normal to have second thoughts about pursuing that crush when they seem to be interested in someone else.

  • Curse all the f-ing natural redheads and their desirable genetics! A guy I liked for a while had a huge thing for read heads as well, so whenever he talked to one, I got bummed because it made me feel inferior. I think it's normal to have second thoughts because he is openly expressing attraction to another girl. But don't let the dang redheads take AAALL of our men--fight back! There is nothing wrong with continuing to get to know him.

    • I just don't want to chase after him. If he wants me and wants to get to know me then he will...but he has certainly expressed more interest in her than me. He has been back in town for a week and I haven't heard from him to go out. Just liking my things on Facebook.

      • A rather one sided relationship won't work. Dont chase him just be friendly.

What you could have done is copy and paste your previous comment into a new one, make the edit and delete the old comment.

As for OP: I dont give a fuck.

Being attracted to Redheads is indicative of a mental disorder. You should distance yourself from him.
