You reach sexual maturity between the ages of 10-13. Why is that so unusual? Kids are figuring out their bodies, parents don't teach their children that masturbation is healthy or just don't teach them sex ed. that young because "we have to protect the chiiiildren!!" and bam. They go out having sex because it's what their bioligical instinct tells them to go do.
I mean yeah, I'm with you on kids should wait and be a little more intelligent before they have sex, but that's because of the society and the way things (and people) are in this day and age. If we were still living a nomadic lifestyle or swinging from trees there would be nothing wrong with what we're doing.
The government should make it mandatory that these kids know about the facts of life and whatnot. Parents not teaching their children is like sending a lamb out to the slaughter. My family barely taught me and most of my knowledge was gained from the internet. If my family hadn't been so strict or hellbent on sheltering me from the realness of the world, I might've lost my virginity. The proper resources need to be given out whether it be to schools or to the parents themselves. Fuck being "Politically Correct" the truth needs to be revealed!
I understand the figuring out their bodies, but the thought of children having sex is just weird to me because their bodies aren't fully developed. Are we talking masturbation or sex, here?
When puberty hits is bioligically when we are sexually mature. Their bodies aren't fully developed but their biological clock will urge them to reproduce nonetheless.
I think its because children are mentally too young that they should not have sex, not physically. Obviously within reason here, I lost my virginity at 15 and wasn't quite mature enough yet, BUT. That is also a mental thing.
Children used to be considered adults once they too were able to have children. Used to be treated as adults a lot earlier in life and *did* used to get married and start families as young as 10-13. Kids today are told to be kids longer, are taught that their virginity is way more important than it really is (my first time sure wasn't a magical experience, we didn't know what we were doing o.o), and are in general more emotional and expect storybook romances or whatever.
Kids today just aren't grown up enough to have sex young.
i knew 2 girls who lost it at 14. another who was knocked up at 15.
my sister knew a 13 year old who was pregnant . she had it aborted though after some teachers saw her trying to throw herself down a flight of stars. (in an attempt to abort it). after the abortion , she went to therapy.
I have a friend that's about 15 and I think she lost it at a much younger age. I don't know how young as I've never had the heart to ask her.
