    The Who. I am not a huge fan of either but at least The Who wrote their own music (as far as I know). Led Zeppelin just ripped off old black American blues musicians, literally word for word in a lot of cases. They were playing covers calling them their own.

    If that wasn't a factor, I would say Led Zeppelin. They are talented at what they do and I like their sound better.

        No they did it directly, not just the style. They were playing other people's songs (covers) and claiming them as their own.

    Two of my favourite bands. Led Zeppelin have a heavy, emotional feel to their songs and The Who have a more dance, pop but emotive feel to them too.

    Have to say Led Zeppelin though, truly amazing.

    Tough question... Pink Floyd do have awesome solos, but the Who are just as good...
    I'd say they are both awesome and since there is a time gap, we place both Pink Floyd and The Who in the TOP5 :D
