The sudden urge to poop while shopping

So whenever I go shopping and I'm standing in front of a shelf where I'm presented with multiple options and I can't decide, I get the sudden urge to have to poop. I don't know why though, and this has been happening for as long as I can remember. I start pacing back and forth trying to decide and when I finally choose something, the urge to poop goes away.

No I don't poop my pants.

Is this normal?

    It's a public situation where you have to be more alert of strangers and obstacles. It might not necessarily be anxiety, but it's is still considered "arousal" (not in the sexual sense, though).
    
    Quite often, when crooks burgle a home, they'll suddenly need to do a poo. Some will use a toilet, but others get creative (so disgusting!). It's the heightened arousal of committing a crime that stimulates their bowels.

    A possible explanation to this could be fight or flight instincts. Your inability to decide could be bringing your stress levels to a very high level, enough to kick your body into survival mode. Studies suggest that "pooping your pants" when scared is your body's way of lessening mass as well as making it easier for you to run; it's pretty hard to run fast when you have to take a dump.
    
    While having a dookie in your undies makes it harder to run, it was fine back when we were cavemen or monkeys or whatever, running nude through the jungles.

I get this 100% of the time at target.

I could eat hard cheese for a week, be locked up like a safe, go to Target for 15 minutes and be all squared away. I have no explanation.

lmao. i used to get that too especially at jc penney cause i would usually go there to get my hair cut and i would get nervous and have to fart a lot, i'd fart while pacing back and forth so the smell would dissipate
