The scalper customers at my job are annoying
The scalpers are usually people in their mid 30s to 40's. They buy collectable toys and cards in bulk and resell them on ebay.
It shouldn't be an issue, however: they're socially awkward, they scream at employees when the item they seek isnt in stock, some get creepily clingy towards employees that show kindness to them, and some are so obsessed with getting their product that they follow our vendors to their homes.
Some scalpers have even snatched toys and cards out of children's hands. A little kid shouldn't be getting bullied by an adult like that! I get that collecting shit has gotten popular due to covid and that covid has left people isolated which kills whatever social skills they have, but it's not an excuse to act like an idiot.
One of the scalpers tried to find out where I live on people finder sites. She seemed to think that the fake smile and fake bubbly demeanor I give to EVERYONE at work was something more. Lucky for me none of those sites(including the paid shit) have any of my current adresses, emails, or known relatives.
Is any of this normal?
