The raging sea

When I see injustice, unfairness, I develop some sort of calm rage.

For example, when I heard that a 80 year-old woman had been beaten and left to death in her own home in a burglary. It certainly made my blood boil. I have urges to bring justice to whoever did that to her.

Another example, I got the rage in me when I heard that a diary owner got shot to death even after he had handed over the money.

The rage is fierce but at the same time its very calm. I never lose control but yet I gain extra awareness and insight into the world.

Is it justifiably normal?

It's called righteous indignation and it is beautiful.

Righteous indignation? Ok. I think that's what is driving me forward at my part-time job as well. I catch thieves as a job

  • I agree that bad people like that should have extreme punishments.

  • You are not special in this respect.

I think most people share that frustration, but they do not romanticize their rage.
