Occasionally I'd do the old "Hey, you dropped your pocket" joke. You know, tell someone 'hey, you dropped your pocket', point at the ground, they look because of reflex, everyone laughs.

One day I actually found a back pocket from a pair of jeans, randomly, mixed in with a load of baled shredded paper I had delivered. That was one of the strangest moments of my life. Someone actually DID drop their pocket.

is it normal for a joke to realize itself?

    Haha this brought back a memory from elementary school. Pretty much the same thing, it was actually someone's pocket on the cafeteria floor and I said the joke n people laughed but i get the odd feeling it was setup looking back on it lol :P..but er i guess normal lol
