The perfect crime

i often try to think of the perfect murder. i play it over in my head of what to do first second and so on like should i burn the body or freeze it then cover up my tracks. i am a really nice person and ppl call me a sweatheart and all but i think this stuff all the time. :/

  • Turn those obsessive thoughts towards something more constructive. Especially since you will never have the satisfaction of being about to carry out those plans of murder - or at least you shouldn't, it's not nice.

Personally, I like to plan out what to do if there was some sort of national disaster because that's something that most people are entirely unprepared for and could easily happen one day. I don't believe that it will happen for certain, but I would like to be somewhat prepared. I buy books about food storage, about how to build self-sustaining homes, and how to survive if transportation was interrupted to my city. So far, I only have a well-stocked pantry.

I also like to dream up and draw out plans for making different woodworking projects even though I don't have a shop. I think about every little detail and try to image what it would be like to use my idea so that I can anticipate any issues that might arise. I hope that one day I will and then I will actually have an outlet for my ideas.

I've been like this since I was a young kid. It just part of how I think about things. It's not how everyone else thinks, but that doesn't make it any less awesome.

You obviously have a creative mind, so wouldn't you rather put it to better, more legal use than plotting the perfect murder?

Its hardly the perfect murder if ur toying with the idea of freezing ur lifeless victim, if u done that u could preserve various forensic evidence that could get u caught.

  • Avoid watching anything violent on TV/film or playing on the ps3 or anything on the news if you have been doing so. Its may be feeding your imagination into a 'false world'.

  • It's okay I do that all the time too. As long as you keep those fantasies in your head, you'll be fine. Just make sure to not try to attempt it in real life.

I always think of ways to get away with it. I have watched lots of crime shows which might increase thinking about it

I do the same thing all the time. It is completely normal. It just gives my mind something to do besides the stuff the idiots in my school have me doing. If it keeps you from falling asleep in the middle of the day keep it up.

Its normal, try to get a job being a CSI, it helps with the imagination, thats how I am, and thats what I want to be. (:

I do the same. I also live 10 minutes away from the Mississippi river, which makes my imagination go wild. Of course I only think these when I don't take my anti-depressants.lol

Well as long as you never plan on acting on it, its safe to say you're not alone. I don't. but I don't see how it wouldn't be highly likely for any other intelligent person with ANY spare time on their hands to want a mind stimulating subject to think about?
