What do you think of the people on this site?
I think they're 90% trolls, 9% idiots and 1% normal people.

I never knew how trolls, idiots, perverts, and one or two geniuses could all interact to make life so vibrant and amusing. The essence of IIN is pure delight.

Some people are idiots in some aspects and geniuses in the other.
I have to admit, I think there is a large amount of trolls on this site now, and I think there has been a recent increase with all this nonsense sexual posts being made that seem like non-legitimate questions of being normal or not and more so random sexual posts that have no relevannce to their actual lives or in terms of their curiosity on the subject, but just do it to have this "Oh my God, look, I am posting sexually weird things. Umadbro, umadbro, umadbro?" intent, which really fail as legitimate questions or even troll attempts. This site fails in even having an upper class troll, not the ones we need but the ones we deserve; the dark trolls -Thunder in background-
Normal, I would say most people are normal on thise site, that's apparent with the constant questions on if something is normal are not that are legitimate, yet so painfully easy to notice as "normal".
I do have to say I am not a fan of this community and how it has grown or how it may continue to grow, but for different reasons that I not only have, but not so much your criticisms.
Just my two cents.

But then again, idiots are perceived as normal on this site so it depends on the perspective.

I would like to say that more or less everyone is "normal" around here, but at the same time, almost everyone has trollish attitudes every now and then. The anonymity allows people to act in one way in a post and then radically change their personality in the next.
Just because someone powermanures their pants doesn't make them any less of a good person

There are a lot of trolls, always have been, well at least since i've been here but I think it's more noticable now that questions aren't monitered. I think there's a place here for some trolls as there are a few I find funny it's a problem if it's overrun or if they are just vicious like a previous user on here, one who was fond of dragons and diamonds
I'm not the OP but I'm noticing this site seems to be headed down the poop chute pretty quickly. It seems to be over run by under age people with posts that are just beyond stupid coming in fast and furious and older names disappearing or appearing less frequently.
It's kind of hard to care about giving any useful advice anymore.
Exactly how I feel. I get days where i do but less and less. Then again I remember a while back thisissomuchfun was saying that it feels the same, i guess maybe it goes through ups and downs. There are a lot of users I miss but there are still a lot of users I care about sticking around. I personally feel IIN is in a slump right now but there's enough here to make me feel it'll pick back up, i still love it and there are some great new users
Then there are people who have some controversial and often inflamitory views that I don't always agree with but are made in a mature, well thought out way, i welcome diverse opinions so I find them good to hear. I often find these people make great contributions to the site
there are still a lot of genuine and open people on IIN who like to help others with insight from their own experiences as well as have a laugh at the same time
Then there's me, I'm not sure how i'm percieved on IIN, sometimes I don't care sometimes I care too much. I feel i've changed a lot on here since I joined, at first I was very personal, I would talk about anything and everything in my life to try and help others, all of my time on here revolved around that. It's not something I do as often now, I find others giving far more passionate and in depth answers than I do now which leads me to not comment, for some reason I rarely have the motivation to spend a long time debating something or giving those kind of answers anymore but I still want to be here, so I occasionally help, spend the rest of the time writing jokes that only half work and reading posts by others.
IIN gets dumber during summer vacation with kids home from school. Things will improve in September.
Trolls are part of the fun sometimes. Why wants a strictly moderated and uncontroversial internet experience?

Thanks :) guess that means you do too haha. I've bookmarked the link so i'll check out inermis divide. i've had some in the past and I know the person sending them was harrasing another user over pm, not sure if those were agressive or not though. Credit to Udi though he got on it and sorted it out
IIN is mostly composed of the internet community, which is pretty much the opposite of anything that is expected to be normal in offline society.
