I find myself to be a historian by hobby. I free think as well. I have come to an opinionated timeline conjecture that weapons technology (present nuclear capabilities) overrun humanity's ability to use it. Is this the golden period as we could understand it and appreciate it? "Golden period" meaning a time of prolonged peace.

Nature has its due course. I'm referring to each commenter and their human nature.

Is it normal you appreciate or otherwise don't?

    I think you're right on the money. Quite a blood soaked Golden Age but it will likely get much worse before it gets better. If it gets better.
