I want to get opinions on the new system, I feel it's been implimented long enough now that people will have an opinion. I've seen the odd comment on it but I thought it'd be good to have a place to discuss it

It's too much! I wish posts would be released in groups of 5 to 10 every two hours instead of constantly coming in. They come in a flood that's very difficult to keep up with, there is no time for posts to mature before they are swept away. That's the only thing I dislike.
The problem with this system is that now trolls are now flooding the "Upcoming" section knowing the posts will be seen by all IIN members.
I think new submissions need a separate page. Approved posts should show on the "home" page.
The way it is now absolutely sucks. It eliminates the dialogue and rapport that used to take place. Many quality users don't sign on for several days at a time, and their responses are buried several pages down. The bonding, learning, and understanding personalities became lost the way it is...and those things all defined this site.
...it's too much at once.
It's an easy fix. Designate an "awaiting moderation" page. Those that make it, go to the "newest posts" page...or "home" page.
Personally, I like it. It's nice to see posts get approved more quickly.
I can honestly say it's crap. The posts made by trolls and underage people that are usually rejected are coming through. Some of these posts are a complete eyesore to even read.
It also makes IIN Gold useless. I wanted to get it, but there's really no point now.
Then again I probably shouldn't be complaining about stuff on a free website.
I don't think the thumbs feature should take any part in monitoring the site. It's now literally a popularity contest on this site.

Before when a post was submitted it would be put into the upcoming posts section. Only members with gold could access this, while there the posts would have options the gold users could vote on saying . its good. has no place on IIN and user is underage. Based on what gold members and moderators thought some posts would get through others wouldn't. Now though when a new post is submitted it goes straight onto the site without any reviewing. The posts that are deemed offensive or just spam will get taken down if users report it
Its alright.. I liked it better before when gold users had something different.. unless you give us something else :')
Please report posts you think are by "trolls" or for any other reason think are inappropriate. It just takes a second to do. Thanks everyone.
Only reason I'd buy gold is to see un-moderated posts... so..... no i don't really like it
It's been years since I've been on this site, so I am still getting used to it and I forget the way it used to be. I did belong to this site five years ago, but then life got busy and I forgot all about it. I don't even know what my username was at the time. I have a completely different email than I did back then. I think it might be fair if people troll the site though. I remember some troll questions back in the day. I don't know if it's still the same way since I just signed up yesterday.
