The most efficient path must be taken, is it normal?

ok, so whenever i am walking somewhere i MUST take the most efficient route to my destination. this in itself is perfectly normal i know that. However, its how much i think about it. For example, i must cut all corners perfectly on their apex in the same manner as racing drivers find the racing line through a corner. i cannot cross a road at a right angle (providing it is not extremely busy). i must cross it at the shallowest angle possible to the direction of where i am walking to keep deviation from my intended path to a minimum.

Think thats weird? it gets worse...

as well as these practical things, the general pleasantness of the journey is taken into account. if i am confronted with two paths: one that is the fastest but is a long straight exposed road where you can see the end and have no shelter from the elements, i will take the slightly long route (practical corner cutting and road-crossing still applies haha).

right...give me your best shot...is it normal? haha.

Perfectly! I do this all the time as well; it frustrates me when sidewalks or roads are positioned so there's that extra unneccesary distance travelled. D:

Lol I do some of this "planning," but you seem a little compulsive haha.
