The moral high ground vs a lifetime of desire

ok so my childhood sweetheart, who i crushed on from late childhood all the way through my teens till I was 20, who then moved away to a different country and got married to a woman - returned to our hometown and wanted to catch up with me. I hadn't seen her in 10 years.

After a few drinks and reunion conversation she wanted to continue back at my place and then back at my place she made constant advances on me, which accumulated in her jumping into my lap and pinning me to the seat grinding me and kissing me passionately, telling me that she had always wanted me.

She was so drunk at this point her eyes were like, crazy man. And all i could think of was that this was something she was going to regret in the morning, and of her poor wife - ive been cheated on before, it sucks.
And as much as I wanted her - that old flame, I called her a taxi and sent her home. I'm feeling like I did the right thing, but I'm interested to hear opinions. Were my actions normal?

Sort of a 60-40 situation. But, I think you are your decision was the best for everybody including yourself.

Bro, you're a better man than I am. That would have been incredibly hard to do, but you did do the right thing.
It's one of those things you can look back on in life and think highly of yourself.
    Honourable af.
