The exchange of money makes me cringe.

Haggling is my worst nightmare!

I can't buy things in front of people or watch people buying things!

I can't talk about money unless it's to someone I know very well! It's just cringeworthy and disgusting! Money should be basically ignored as a conversational topic, and purchases should be made quicky and as discreetly as possible.

I agree with you actually. Money is a form of disgrace. Its the source of all crimes apart from rape and a few others. Talking about money just hurts relationship. Talking about how much things are in front of your children is even worse. Children should learn the true values of things instead of their mere physical prices.

i gotta say that money, well physical cash, disgusts me/makes me cringe(similar like you), but i have a reason for it, i work with it all the time on a daily basis(check cashing), and i know of how dirty it can be, all the germs and bacteria passed around from person to person and such, but whoa... transactions are another thing, just transactions and shopping? thats a tad bit strange O_o

i put not normal.. you shouldn't feel so awkward that you physically cringe when money is exchanged. otherwise its really good, better than normal. money is a vulgar subject and should be avoided.

I think part of that is normal, at least I hate haggling too--I'll just pay full price for something, or not shop somewhere that allows barganing.
As for the discussing money, I love to tell people when I've found a good deal on something, so I'm not sure how normal that is. I used to hate watching people shop/spend money too, it made me very uncomfortable...but now I've gotten better. I decide, on the rare occasion I agree to go shopping with someone, that it's not my money, and they can spend it however they want. it makes it easier.

WHAT?! okay, this sounds borderline paranoid. whats so terrible about money? is it the concept of it? is it because it's dirty? if your going to say these things, you should be more specific, mainly because otherwise you just sounds plain crazy.
