The box of gloves in the exam room unsecured?

In the ER and in doctor's offices the boxes of latex gloves are left out where anyone can touch them, fondle, contaminate, etc.

Hasn't anybody noticed the problem with this? People are left sitting in the exam room waiting, ALONE, for a while and who knows what they do to the gloves! The doctor comes in, puts on a set of gloves and touches the next patient without thought that maybe the last patient contaminated the gloves with who knows what.

I don't like that this can happen.

I'll be completely honest here, I have fondled the damn gloves myself numerous times. I never wash my hands either. Why can people like me (and worse) touch the gosh darn exam gloves?? Someone needs to stop us. What if some weirdo brought some kind of pepper spray into the gynecology office and put it on the gloves?? I'm not going to do that but, you know, someone might!

If you don't like it, complain about it over there instead of complaining about it here.

    • I wouldn't do that but some people probably do and that's my point! How has nobody thought that they need to keep the gloves secured?

The poll is completely useless. If they're going to comment obviously their comment will be posted here... dolt. Also you're a kleptomaniac and should be shot.

I always steal a handful and take any gauze and bandages I see. I would steal the whole examination chair but my pockets are only so big.

You know the doctor's office are not sterile environments, they just help keeps bodily fluids away. The doctors wash their hands many times a day, and are vaccinated against everything.

    • Yeah but if someone has touched the gloves with filthy hands (or spit on them, or some other gross shit) and then the doctor slaps a pair on and touches the next patient...then don't you think that's gross for that patient? What if the doctor touches them in the mouth??
