This year was the best year with music that I've had in a while. A lot of my favorite artists are releasing this new content and its amazing! is it normal that there are good years with music and shit years with music?
There's no way of hearing all the music released worldwide in a year so impossible to judge. And even if you could, it would be highly subjective. Your question is null and void.
I don't know, for me every year is about the same music-wise. If a band isn't making new music then they're usually touring, which means I can catch a live show. That isn't necessarily as good as a really great new record, but it's still very fun especially if it's a band that doesn't come to the UK often.
Yeah it's normal like this is the worst year of my life so far lol but the music has been fucking superb. At least I have good music to sulk to and I can legally get drunk so that's something.
Western music is not chaste, but very compelling.
