My dad is a pedo, he is always trying to watch me dress and hes never nice to me. I know he watches me dress because my room doesnt have a door and my parents are too shitty to buy one so my room is connected to theirs and when im dressing, my dad would barge in (he never trys to look at me when my moms near) and he would act like hes looking in the closet and i have proof becaus hes been doing it and i had relized it when i was in the 6th grd and i dont even know if hes been doing it sence i was 4 or even younger but he is really starting to piss me off. I havent told my mom yet because im not the type to say awkward/unpolite things infront of my parents. And plus i need proof like a vedio to show her but anyways... One time i got so mad, i said "ugh this shirt doesnt fit! I need to change" but i was actualy lieing and then my dad got up right when i said it, and he came and acted like he sas in the closet looking for clothes but that closet doesnt even have his clothes int here only my moms and his suits and he only wears those to special occasions. I also have a mirror infront of my room so what ever i do will show in the mirror and i think he set it up that way so that he could see me undress. And when i take a shower my dad would bang on the door and talk to me about some stupid crap like "dont leave your clothes in there" or "why did you leave this plate in your room?!" Like omg!! And then when im in the bathroom he would open the door really wide to talk to me and he would look directly at me And lie and say "im not looking at you shut up!!!" ONG I CANT STAND HIM ANY MORE!!!! And also my mom keeps taking my phone so that meens how am i supposed to get evidence?! And then one time i was sitting on my parents bed watching tv and my dad was laying down, and my shirt was kind of on top of the cover (the covers were kinda balled up next to me) and i felt my dad pulling the cover back realy slowly and i felt a breeze on my back and i pulled my shirt down and the covers moved and i felt air again!!! I got so mad i just whent downstairs. I need help do any of u know any ideas of hiding my phone so i can get him on camra?

    Why would anyone put their child in a room without a door on it? Tell your school counselor. No offense but your family sounds really weird and creepy. Your father is a piece of garbage!

    Try to move out as soon as possible and or get a part time job and use the money to buy your own door with a lock on it! But, seriously talk to someone like a counselor and try to get away from your family instead of wasting time trying to "get evidence."

    So does your father abuse drugs and alcohol? I think if he got in an accident and lost his eyesight for a while it would be no tragedy.

    It's sad that you think that you have to get proof to make your mother believe you ... I agree that your fathers behaviour is creepy and weird and you should DEMAND a door and hopefully even get away asap before it gets worse ...

    You all have school counsellors?! We had a nurse to treat knee grazes and the like. None of this fancy counselling. It's a new dawn..

    There is nothing normal about this. I agree to tell the school councilor.
    The tricky thing about this one is that nothing you described sounds like he has sexually assaulted you, but he is more of a peeping tom, which still isn't good, but will be harder to prove.
    The camera idea is good, and fortunately we live in a time where you can get a video camera for cheap at the local thrift shop, or on craigslist. They're not hard to come by.
    I work in the music industry, which often involves tweakers, who like to steal, and I have mastered setting up my camcorder where nobody can see it, to catch thieves. One of my more successful hidden cameras was in a speaker I bought at the goodwill and took out the insides and put the camera inside and put the cover back on. Nobody has noticed it and it just looks like a speaker sitting on my tv even if you look closely at it.

    This is not normal AT ALL! Definitely tell SOMEONE about what's going on. Hopefully you will soon be old enough to move away to an apartment and work a regular job or go to college and live in a dorm.
