    Yes. They're generally more thoughtful than other men. It's wise to be kind, quite frankly.

    Yeah; however, wise men and women know when a situation requires kindness or assertiveness, and can be kind without being gullible.

    A wise man quickly recognizes situations where kindness engenders a positive outcome. He also recognizes situations where a mean spirit will preempt trouble.

    Anyone here ever seen House of Cards (I'm aware the protagonist is a fictional character, but it makes the point nonetheless). Frank Underwood is quite wise and Machiavellian, but he's certainly not nice.
    Just like everyone else, some wise men are nice, some are mean.
