There are allot of factors you have to consider.
    1. Are they okay with the LGBT community? If not, than they could make your life a living hell.
    2. Like Nora said, are you in a serious situation that would cause you to have to them?
    3. I would suggest waiting until you're a adult and independent. If you're not and you tell them, then they could try to kick you out of the house or worse!
    4. I also strongly advise against telling them if they're EXTREMElY religious.

A family knowing about your sexuality really isn't any of their business. But it's up to you on whether or not you'll tell them. Just be smart about it!

    Good Luck.

Do you have to tell them? Are you currently in a relationship with a same sex partner? That would be a good moment and face to face is definitely the best way to do it.

If you think they're gonna get made then I'd say wait til you have to (say if you were in a relationship with someone of the same gender). If you don't think they'll mind just tell it to their faces and try not to make a big deal out of it.

I think there is absolutly no reason your parents need to know about your sexuallity!

I wouldn't tell them, unless I'd be in a relationship with someone of the same sex, then I'd let them know that I'm focused on both genders and to which one I'm attracted most.

I wouldn't tell them. Who I love is none of my parent's business.

i dont really think you should tell them until you have a reason to if theyre the type of parents that will be weird about it, maybe wait til you're in a relationship with someone of the same sex, but thats just what i would do :)

    I wouldn't tell if it wasn't necessary.

But if you have to, face to face is best. I think it would be easier for you to see them again after telling them face to face. Telling in a letter would create lots of tension for the next time you meet them.
