Now see, I don't agree with everyone hating on the tribal. Though I have my own style of tribal so I'm not sure if that counts for more, the shit I do isn't generic though. I despise generic tattoos... Especially koi fish o.o

I agree with gunther, most flash art and wall tattoos are lame and serve no purpose, to me at least. If you're going to take on the needle and ink, let it be something you have to think about first, find some meaning in it. It took me over a year of ideas and pictures until I finally drew up my half sleeve for my right arm, and I'm still making little changes here and there on my drawing until I feel it's ready to hit the carbon paper.

I hate when people get trendy tattoos. Like the barbed wire, tribal designs, or chinese/japanese characters when the wearer isn't even remotely involved with either of those cultures. I just think it's corny. I knew a girl back in high school who was obsessed with anime and she got a tattoo saying "vampire princess" written in kanji. A little while later, my japanese friend told me that they doesn't even have a true word for vampire, much less a character for it. But whatever, people are gonna do what they're gonna do and if it makes them happy, then who cares. :/

I like some tattoo designs but I don't think I'd ever get one. Not because of a low tolerance for pain or anything, but because I don't trust tattoo places. Also, I already have to take two meds a day that I have to inject.

I like temporary tattoos though :). I know they're childish, but they aren't permanently etched into your skin and you can get rid of them whenever you want.

most of them are. but occasionally you see somebody with a really generic tattoo that has absolutely no meaning. those type of people shouldn't be allowed in tattoo shops.

i have three stars representing me and my sisters. we all have them. (:

Normal if that's your thing. Its taking me way too long to get all I want. I've always wanted to be mostly covered. Got two half sleeves and some on my back and one on my leg, though I hate that one. Came out like shit. Blah blah blah

I like tattoos that compliment the body. It's normal to love them and a lot of people have at least one (including myself).

Sure. I'm the exact opposite! But I don't think there's a problem really with loving them. No more problem than me hating them. :)
