Talking soft to the baby all the time even when she's sleeping soundly

I got this beautiful newborn baby ... I adopted her eversince she was born last February 23, 2015 after her mother died of natural birth due to shoulder dystocia and I considered adopting her for I have tokophobia anyway. She is just sooooo cute that I always want to squeeze her little cheeks .. She has blonde hair, big, brown eyes and very light skin, more like of an american baby .. (I am Chinese-American) ... But my uncles and aunt are worried about me for they always caught me talking softly to the baby even when she is sleeping ...
Can I still be considered normal for talking to her soooo much? I am just worried that I'm going to be the craziest housekeeper and mother in town ...

Thank you ...
Any comments/opinions will be appreciated ...
I'm Elisha, 23 (turning 24 on may), a woman, an adoptive mom and a housekeeper ...

I would say babble away as long you aren't disturbing her sleep. But since babies are exrra sensitive I'm not sure if doing so would subconsciously affect them or not. Probably not, so carry on but in moderation.
