Talking in my head

Is it normal that I talk to myself in my head when im alone. Like, sometimes I will start to have a conversation with myself in my head and I will need to physically say "stop". I do it especially at night. IIN?

Talking in your head is pretty normal. I have conversations in my head and day dream a lot. Nothing wrong with it.

I wish i could stop talking to myself in my head. I am constantly talking in there even when I'm talking out loud or to others. Sometimes I have two conversations going on in my head at once.

I talk to myself all the time when I am alone. This form of personal dialoge permits me to talk through issues that are most pressing in my life. Hearing my thoughts out loud also allows me to correct ideas, because once you hear an idea or concern spoken, it offers a better sense of the goodness or stupidness of what you are thinking or planning. Totally normal!

    I meant "hear" NOT "fear"

Try talking to yourself instead. Once you can fear the dialogue, you may see the situation as less menacing or even humorous
