My cuz went 8 months without a shower, he got a serous disease. No way in HELL you can go years without a shower.
yes, this is fake. come on man, i could think of something way better than that. be more creative.
I'm not saying to scrub you skin with soap every five minuets. Taking a shower every couple of days will help. Animals have different methods of cleaning themselves and the environment they expose them self to is different. Well not true for city pests. Rats sometimes carry different and contagious skin diseases. But animals in the "wild" clean themselves in ways that help knock off the dead skin cells which harbor bacteria and to knock off parasites. Examples being rolling in sand, tongue baths, and yes occasionally water baths. There is no soap but animals find a way to stay healthy(not really that clean but close). SO if animals do it you should to!
Everyone talking about diseases and infections: why would any of that happen? Monkeys don't take showers either, and they don't get skin diseases. In fact, I know of no animal that takes showers with soap. Sure, they walk in the rain, but assuming that the human being in question does that too sometimes, there is no reason to get sick.
I don't see why you wouldn't want to be clean (I don't think it's "normal"), but there is no technical reason you couldn't do it.
It is true that showers are overrated. Many people with skin diseases shower only once a week. They don't even smell noticably (but it's probably better not to do any sports in this case). Water+soap too often is actually a really bad thing for your skin, if your skin isn't healthy chances are it can't deal with water and soap every day.
@Dren - my cats wash themselves constantly, a lot more often than humans do. Cats (and probably a lot of other animals) have anti-bacterial stuff in their saliva, and also don't get as sick from bacteria as humans do. And most animals have scales or feathers or fur, which helps protect their skin. Humans don't. And as verabojo pointed out, most animals have some way of cleaning themselves, even if they're not as fastidious as cats.
Tl;dr - not showering is gross, and will probably lead to skin irritation like boils and rashes and acne, maybe skin diseases too.
Not taking a shower does not just leave you smelly, you will have open sores and rashes all over you body. Not to mention you "lower" parts would have infections upon infections. I highly doubt this is real. Buuuut whatever!
Well I've met a dude that showered once a month, belive it or not but he said that hair gets to a greesy level and doesn't get worse. So if you think your hairs greesy then this is deff fake. Wasteee of timeee
I too think this is fake. But in reference to this sentence taken from above: "They're right, you'd get a disease, or someone would notice enough to do something about it." I would like to ask what could anyone do about this if he were an adult living on his own? He might be fired from his job and might not be invited to family gatherings but what could anybody really do?
your story is as fake as kim kardashians ass! get a life dude.
if this is true...way to go albert einstien!
but seriously,take a damn shower...
This is obviously...fake. They're right, you'd get a disease, or someone would notice enough to do something about it. If you have a job you'd probably be mentioned and if you go to school you'd probably get in trouble for that...
its easy and simple, TAKE A SHOWER. It doesnt take long and your just messing around writing a question like this....
This has to be fake. There's no way you can go that long without cleaning yourself. You'd get some kind of fungus or skin desease.
