Strong fascination with nerdy guys

Is it okay and normal to exclusively be attracted to nerdy guys? Ever since I was a little kid, I had a love/hate relationship with the "nerd" stereotype. In grade 9, I realized that it was all because they just turned me on, and since then I've been wondering about it, is this attraction normal? I've never ever talked to another person who shared this eccentricity with me. As of now, I have a loving boyfriend who is... a huge nerd. He knows about my "nerd thing" as I've called it, and he says it's alright, but I'd love to get a couple second opinions.
Guys who love anime, video games, and manga are really cute to me, and if they're socially awkward too it's a huge turn on. It goes a little further, such as that the stereotypical "nerdy" guy image (button up shirt, horn rim glasses, messenger bag, plaid pants pulled up high, pens in front pocket) really makes me sweat.
