Stretch in bed (in the morning) and get the poops?

I am sure all of us have times where we lay in bed in the morning after we wake up, when we do not have to "be" up. We simply lay there and feel awesome.

Well, whenever I do this, I like to subtly stretch while I am in bed. The problem is that I always seem the get "the poops" or "the runs" shortly afterwards! I have no idea if it is normal to get either 1) the runs or 2) a suppermassive poop after stretching in my bed in the morning. It only happens in the mornings that I stretch while laying down.

It is not a big deal or anything, but I am wondering if it is a normal occurance among others.

diarrhea isn't normal, per se. it makes me wonder if there is something slightly out of whack in your body that maybe doesn't really disrupt you now, but could lead to cancer or something really bad down the line. I hate mainstream medicine because they won't help you prevent cancer or diabetes (they way they ought to anyway). I think you should try an olive oil colon cleanse. try googling that. There is something awry apparently in your intestinal tract, probably from something you've been eating on a long term basis like processed foods.

I think it has nothing to do with stretching at all. As soon as I wake up and start moving at all my bowels also start moving. I eat a varied diet which inherently includes fiber and mostly try to have my last meal of the day before 7 pm.
After 12 hours of digestion things are ready to go.

    Ask a doctor.

  • I stretch in bed in the morning and that never happens to me. Certain foods give me the runs but not stretching.

Stop stretching in bed. Instead, get up and use the toilet. It seems that your bowel movements have gotten themselves locked into a schedule. Do you go other times during the day or is it just in the morning after a stretch?
