okay its clearly lavender OR smoke.
people are over-reacting to a small typo. jesus, we all know what he meant.
anyway, yes its normal. like that one kid said, your body gets confused and you can hear, smell, see weird things for a second there. once at lacrosse practice i got checked in the head and i smelled bacon so i mean it happens.
That is your brain having a slight misfire from the collision. Honestly, you should talk to a doctor and make sure that you don't/won't have problems from continuing to play football.
That sounds like a candle or a perfume:)
Have you ever tried incense?
Sometimes, I smell burning materials when it's cold.
Why am I being reminded of poetry?
I suggest you get in touch with your mystical side.
I'll tell you exactly what it is: it's the result of trauma to your brain. Your brain has been jolted (it is floating inside your skull) and has likely been knocked against the periphery of your skull...people with epilepsy often 'smell' things when they have different types of seizures. If I were you I would stop playing that god-awful game before you end up brain-damaged for the rest of your life.
Perhaps it is normal. The brain/body is one weird thing. I've got mates who smoke and sometimes they say they 'taste' toffee, pie, strawberries etc when they inhale. I bet someone written a long nerdy book somewhere on what is happening to you and won some award for it ;-)
Hmm. Well, when I get hit in the head, I smell a sort of bloodish scent. Maybe that's your "lavender of smoke." :D
OMG YES I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN!
I smell a sort of smokey smell in the air especially when its cold.
It is not, by definition, abnormal, however, you should consult with a neurologist to make sure that there is not something additional going on.
Watch for other symptoms that can be indicitive of neurological pathology such as lost time, sudden intense emotions, tremmors, foggy thinking, sleep disturbances, visual disturbances, or anything that just does not seem right and report these things to your doctor when you seem him.
For One, Lavender Of Smoke? haha, But For Another, Many Times If Something Occurs Like Being Tackled Hard, You Can Get Smells, Or See Things, Or Hear Things.
When An Impact Occurs, Your Body Many Of Times Is Confused. Your Smell Memory May Kick In, And Since You Know The Scent, "Lavender Of Smoke," I'm Sure It's Just Your Body Getting Confused.
Your Normal. :D
Well if you know what "lavender of smoke" is, then you're probably gay and are thus tackling too hard, in a foolhardy attempt at stripping your opponent of his manly odours.
Kids today are sissies. Lavender!!! and you admit it????? I'm from the old school of football. You don't get hit hard ,YOU HIT HARD! I watch high school kids today playing FB. Good God ! When I played and you got hurt you taped it up and kept playing. If it was falling off you went to the hospital after the game. When I played fans could smoked at the games. When I smell pipe, cigar smoke and cut grass it takes me back.Dude!years from now don't be telling people you smelled Lavender and it took you back to being naked with guys in the locker room and patting each other on the azz for a good job.
