Strange reaction to smoking weed?
I only just started smoking weed. When I tried it for the first time, I felt weird and a little twitchy, but otherwise fine. I've tried it twice since then, and both times I have uncontrollable shakes. I start out feeling great and really relaxed, but eventually I start with small rocking and then evolves to the point where it feels like I'm shaking even if I make myself stay still.
I know the weed is alright because I only smoke it with my girlfriend and she's fine. So why do I get the shakes so bad? They seem to progress until I feel like I'm having brain spasms.
Everyone tells me to calm down, but I honestly am not panicking when I start to shake. Actually, it's like if I calm down, the shakes start, but if I tense up all my muscles really hard, I can stop them for a few minutes, but then I sort of "float away" and find myself shaking again.
My girlfriend has been doing this for longer than I have, and she gets the stuff from someone who's been doing it for over forty years and claims this is the "good stuff." Could it be that my body can't handle such a strong amount of it? Should I try smoking less or tell her that I need to quit altogether?
