Strange and numb taste in back of tongue from weed for 4 days (so far)

Hi guys, i'm really freaking out here. Person A has tried weed for the first time, followed by a very bad trip, about 4 days ago. Person A smoked 1 and a half joints and after 1 day, person A felt back to normal. For the whole of 4 days, Person A has had a strange sensation in only the tongue, and in the very back where you are unable to see the tongue. Person A taste sour metallic, and makes anything that touches the tongue feel slightly numb and almost cold/burning. All this is coming from the back of the tongue or throat of person A.

Person A's tongue seems fine and so do the tonsils, he has used mouth wash and scrubbed with toothpaste but the taste is still there even after eating food.

Could this be from the smoke person A has ingested stuck in the tonsils, throat or lungs? Or saliva with THC in the back of the throat?

Is this normal after 4 days? Should person A wait it out or seek help, He is not really sure, no one has experienced this and since it is person A's first (and last) time he don't know what to feel or do? I would greatly appreciate a reply.

    Person A should break down and confess his/her actions to Parents B and to priest or minister C in front of congregation D. Person A should turn in their supplier E or they are F'ed. It would also help if they dropped to their knees and prayed to God G for absolute forgiveness and to bring their tastebuds back to normal..

    we all know you're person a, you should smoke weed you might have gotten some basil instead of weed dealers do it all the time, use a bong next time luv filters and cools it

    If it's their first time smoking their body is probably still repairing itself from the burn of the smoke. Marijuana smoke can get very hot. Also, pieces of the cherry can get sucked through a badly rolled joint, causing painful burns in the mouth sometimes.

    Coffee (not too hot) and water are great for cottonmouth and a burned throat.

    I dont smoke marijuana or anything, but I don't think that's normal at all. Maybe there was something "extra" in it, or maybe he was allergic to it...? If you are very concerned, go see a doctor.

    Not normal, also not from the pot. Coming from someone who's smoked for years and years I've never had that happen. Probably some mind of throat infection due to a predicting illness that just coincidentally started showing symptoms right after the pot use.

    Person A should stop doing drugs.

    I don't care if you're all sick of how anti-drug I am. I am honestly finding more reasons to look down upon them every day, and this is another reason. So many things that can go wrong when using drugs, it baffles and saddens me that so many people use and defend them. :(

      Inhaling any kind of smoke is bad for you. It can be eaten, or vaporized. This situation can be easily avoided

      Now you have one less reason.
