A recent study came out that said straight women are the least happiest among lesbians, straight men and gay men (in that order). I agree with that because straight women are just angry all the time particularly if they are in a relationship. I don't think they are fully happy for any 24 hour period.
You sound like a gay giy defendiny himself. It has gone from we are equal, to we we better. And I consider it quite a problematic viewpoint. Also, 'happiness' is too subjective of a term to draw conclusions from a study. I can explain why it doesn't work in more detail if you want.
Somebody has a fully crazy and toxic superiority complex brewing. In my experience, people who are genuinely happy don't feel the need to sit at home reading theses on how their demographic fares on some arbitrary scale. Happy people don't feel the need to assure themselves that they ate the MOST happy, then post about how AWESOME & HAPPY they are online, ripping other people down in the process.

On a side note, I remember taking screenshots of that other persons bullying behavior toward male users on here and showing it to a few gay internet friends of mine. Even though their line of thinking revolves around extreme sometimes, even they thought that chicks behavior was an embarrasment to lesbians and said they wouldnt associate with her if they met her. I don’t know how true that is but it would make a lot of sense. They’re the ones who are stuck with dating straight men and that’s a fucking nightmare.
Words like "studies" and "statistics" are often thrown out because they have a connotation of being almost computerized- separate from fallacies and human bias.
That isn't completely true, since studies are still researched and compiled by humans.
I won't accept this just "cuz studies and Paul Dolan", unless it can be verified that proper logical steps were used in coming to this strange conclusion, and key questions can be answered.
Happiness is a subjective term. Were the subjects asked outright? Were certain criteria used which could also be subjective? WHY are straight women generally less happy? Were aspects of the subjects' lives other than sexuality being taken into account? Et cetera.
Anyway, what's the purpose of making such a comparison? Because it's interesting? To encourage straight women to use pussy cream as a balm for their unhappiness?
I dont know who Paul Dolan is, but I remember hearing about that guys book Happy Ever After. The book was summarized as saying MARRIED women with kids are the least happy. I heard nothing about lesbians. Honestly though when it comes to studies, I tend to take them with a grain of salt since a lot of them these days are either biased or not tested enough.

Honestly this doesn’t surprise me considering the impossible beauty standards they’re subjected to and the number of straight men I see who treat their partners like shit.
I dunno about all of that, but lately I've found that I'm happier as a single woman than when I have been in a relationship. To always have a good Siamese cat in my life is much better than to always have a partner in my life. For me personally the whole pair bond thing has proven itself to be highly overrated. My cat is purring up a storm, and making biscuits right now as I write this!
